In a bustling office of a company named SHOENIVERSE, members of the group – Afiqah, Alya, Rabiatul, Aisyah, and Farhanah – gathered for a
discussion on their current system that is Employee Information System (EIS). The mood was one of collaboration and
improvement, as they aimed to make their company systems more efficient and
secure.
Afiqah: Don't you think there are still things that need to be
fixed in our system? In my view, we can imitate the existing system in today's
era. For example the online banking system.
Alya: Afiqah can you try to explain more about the improvements
that need to be made?
Afiqah: For example, employees need to enter strong passwords and
follow the standards set by our company. In addition, we can automate the
system in terms of logout. For example when the user does not use the system
for 1 minute, the system will close itself.
Rabiatul: That's a good idea. In that way we can improve the
security of the system and the employee's personal data is guaranteed to be
safe.
Alya: I think employee attendance also needs to be improved
because it has a negative effect when employees mark attendance while the
employee is still outside the company area.
Aisyah: Maybe we can put a QR code scan in this system. therefore,
employees need to come to the office on time to scan the QR code at the front
door of the office.
Farhanah: I agree with Aisyah's suggestion.
As the discussion unfolded, the group members discovered a shared
goal of enhancing both security measures and attendance accuracy in their
workplace system. Inspired by ideas from online banking and the practicality of
QR codes, they embarked on a journey to collectively improve their system for a
more efficient and secure work environment at SHOENIVERSE.
